Welcome Aboard

Ami McConnell (Fiction) sends the following welcome announcement:

Please welcome Becky Monds who joins Thomas Nelson’s team as Editorial Assistant for Fiction. She is a graduate of The University of the South with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Becky formerly worked for Davis-Kidd Booksellers in Nashville where she served as Marketing Manager. In that capacity, Becky worked closely with authors and media in promoting books.

Becky brings a great personality, a love of literature, and heart for the Gospel that makes her a perfect fit for our team. We look forward to a long and happy future with Becky!

Nashville Star Testimonial

Its been a little over a week since we announced the new Nashville Star shuttle service and we wanted to check with some of our colleagues who’ve taken advantage of the service. In the next three or four editions of the Nelson News, we plan to run testimonials like this one from.

“Riding the train has been a great experience so far!
It’s wonderful not to have to struggle through the frustrations
of traffic tie-ups due to construction, wrecks, and inclement weather and to arrive at work and at home more relaxed — less frazzled. The train has moved along right on schedule, and the shuttle has been punctual, too.  Friendly, courteous personnel on both the train and the shuttle make the trips pleasant, and it’s been a lot of fun getting to meet new people. Thanks so much to the Company for making this mode of transportation practical for us”!
