
Bowker, the U.S. ISBN agency, introduces PubTrack: Business intelligence tools and services to dynamically analyze the book industry. This online application for data aggregation and analysis is available on subscription to publishers as well as retailers. Bowker's target audience include names such as amazon.com, Borders and many of the big publishing houses in the US.
To market their new product, Bowker requested an informative web site that showed both the complexity of the product as well as the ease-of-use thereof. Bowker insisted on the use of the branding color for PubTrack and a more muted look that reflected the design of the product's dashboard. A prominent, image-based navigation was chosen to loosen up the design.
