Christian Book Expo
This new portal site for Christian authors and their works was modeled out of an extensive event site for the Christian Book Expo 2009, the first large-scale book fair of Christian publishing.
Ambit created both sites:
- The new portal site features monthly bestsellers in several categories, award-winning titles and other news elements. The site uses PHP/MySQL to dynamically flow in book titles, a parsed XML feed to display cover images and JavaScript to add functionality as well as interest.

- The consumer site was developed to present the Book Expo to a broad audience. The site included many dynamic elements, such as an author search, several email forms, parsing an image feed from christianbook.com and integrating a Twitter feed.
The site now showcases event photos taken by Ambitcreative.
